Page 02 Author's Notes: I'm proud of this page. Despite some late night, exhausted screw ups, crashes, and other Murphy's Law bits, I'm excited about the lighting and auroras on this page (the last panel might be a bit dark, which is a quick fix in the end). What's over there that sounds like waves crashing? Rory sure wants to find out!

Rory (Aurora) Perkins is just a normal girl spending the waning days of summer with her grandparents in the country. When she sets out to catch fireflies one evening, little does she know her curiosity will cause her to leave her own world behind forever, journeying into the Infinite Spiral of realities.

Thanks! That's her stuffed lion, Roary (I know, ridiculous!). She's had it forever, and takes it on trips with her. Loosely based on my own fave stuffed animal I've had forever. That bag is full of stuff ... haha, I have a whole list.
