We All Fall Down Part OneA story from the Spiral
James sat under a shedding birch, a rugged worn book in his lap.  A gentle breeze was buffeting his soft blond curls and carrying with it the mild apple like scent of chamomile.  The boy involuntarily twitched the corners of his mouth into a shallow smile, leaning his head back with a sigh.
“I wish you wouldn’t have dragged me downwind from chamomile.” James clutched a hand to his head. “I don’t like the way it makes me feel.”
Christian came around the tree from the other side, munching a peach he’d scavenged from his mother’s orchard on their way to the meadow.  “You know, most people like the emotion that comes from smiling,” he said, mouth half full.
James looked at the older boy and raised an eyebrow.  Juice was dribbling off Christian’s chin and onto his hastily knotted necktie.
“I don’t understand how a weed can mess with your head so much,” Chris

Page 11 Author's Notes: Sorry for the wait. My computer died smack in the middle of this page and combined with a crunch at work, I was put a week behind. James and Christian continue their search for the book, and as it turns out, Christian has been keeping them invisible to library patrons ... but as it turns out, his attention span isn't very good.

Also, when I first posted I thought, why are the colors so bright? It turns out I forgot to turn my color filter back on during coloring. Oops. That is corrected now!

Infinite Spiral: Chapter One: Awakening
James Hartwell and Christian Rafferty aren't your average tweens and teens. The two are considered Wicked Children, which means they are a mixture of human and unknown, feared "magical" beings, that have since seemed to disappear. What is in their past? What is in their future? And how does Rory connect to them? Who was that white haired youth? What's next? We begin the journey here.

No, she's closing her eyes hoping they'll go away. Haha. I realized she was at risk for having the same face for three panels.

James doesn't ... currently have his magic. I don't know if you read "Brothers" but he's forgotten everything that happened that day. Christian only remembers James is his brother, haha. More to be revealed. :D

I haven't had a chance to read it yet, I'm actually trying to cram in my summer reading(one week left)and work and whatever else gets thrown at me, but don't worry I WILL read it.

Battlefield...Ah I know that one. That one has the Brigadier in it doesn't it. I actually haven't finished that one yet, stupid computer with all the seperate parts!

Maybe the fading magic around their line of sight is a little confusing though. Haha, red and green-blue are Christian's colors.
